Will alerts work underground?

Signals can be weak in tunnels, so alerts may be early, late, or missed. Check station signs and announcements too.

Will it work when my phone is locked?

Yes, after you allow location, notifications, and background access. Phone settings can still delay alerts.

Why does MetroPing need location?

Only during an active trip, to estimate when your stop or interchange is close.
